Will my transmission survive?

They did what!!!!!!!!!!

 I've been looking at a lot of new 5th wheels lately trying to zero in on the one I want to buy. It ain't easy. Either there are floor plan issues, weight issues, price issues etc. I have recently been looking real closely at the Cedar Creek by Forest River. They are relatively new to the business and that's probably why I haven't seen a lot of them on the highway. Forest River makes the Cardinal which I do see a lot of. Anyway, I haven't found another brand that packs as much into their coach at such a light weight and relatively low cost. I'm just not sure about their overall quality. Looks can be deceiving. Anyone know anything about this particular coach?

Cedar Creek is one of the best values out there. They basically copied some of the Sunnybrook models, and put their name on it.

We've had great luck w/ our sunnybrook, and the folks were looking to get one like ours. Ended up looking at the Cedar Creek, and finding this out. They have a model, I think it was a 29 ft 5er that had an an incredible up front storage area.

Their quality is very good (screwed & glued aluminum joints, lots of insulation, no particle board anywhere), and if you look at the components, for example I believe they used the Progressive Dynamics 55 amp converter, which is top of the line, not cheapo junk.

Theres a few names out there that give alot of value for the buck, and Cedar Creek is one of them.

Theres a few names to avoid like the plague also ( I wont mention on here to protect the victims).

Check out irv.com for tons of RV info, youll see, (if you havent already).

We love our Cedar Creek!

We bought our Cedar Creek about 6 months ago and really like it. I am not an expert at judging quality in a 5th wheel, but I sure like what I see. Ours is a 34CKRT with rear living room and island kitchen. We took it back once , for a few discrepancies (sp. ) and they fixed it right up. We got ours at Domianos in Stanton, CA. It took us a while to get the price down to our level, but we did and are satisfied. There are a lot of slick features and we sure like it.

We're looking at the 33CKT with just about every available option. I like the lower weight for a lot of 5er. Yes, we looked at Montana's and just about everything else out there. My wife and I went it with pretty firm ideas on floor plan, features, weight, price and other factors. Cedar Creek comes closest to meeting them all. Now we just need to agree on price. We're close.

A friend in Mich is currently looking at a Cedar Creek 29RLSS?. He went to the factory and was impressed - said the CC was a lot better than the Wildwood POS I had. The dealers there are really getting hungry! I think he said $24K. I guess they appear to have a good cold package. Craig
