What way should my fan be going to keep the heat down from the roof. I know there is a summer direction and winter! For what it is worth... ... mine is currently going counterclockwise with the "high" side of the fan leading the way. If I thought about this one long enough I might be able to figure it out. But I am tired and lazy. LOL

I'll put in my objective argument here...

If the HIGH side is leading, air is comming down on you (makes air feel cold)... . if you spin clockwise, low side leading it will take cool air to the ceiling, and bring warm air down the outside of the blade. In my opinion it works best on most fan on the lowest setting as not to cool the air.

I am off my fan soap box now.

You are correct. I spin one in the winter with the low edge leading just to circulate the warm air and the other with the high edge leading. I have a large room with a wood burning stove and that keeps the air moving and at a fairly constant temp.
