I would like to see the internals before passing judgement.Jeep and GM has had a few different transfercases that allowed full time.none of them held up well enough for me to want one

After 14 years of experience with my wife's Jeep and it's full time transfer case I'd say I'd be more inclined to pay to remove it.

This is a Detroit Locker System. I would like it. Had one in my jeeps rear axle.

Interesting. It would be more attractive if you could choose between fully locked or the detroit. If you've ever had a Detroit rear end do a load pop, well, I'm not sure what that would do to the front driveline... say goodbye to your locking hubs?

I don't get it. I would rather take my full-time 4wd 2000 Landcruiser (LX470-same thing) and make it part-time 4wd due to the majority of street driving. Mileage and handling benefit.

This kit takes the part-time 4wd and makes it full-time 4wd. Mileage and handling suffers. Probably okay if you spend the majority of time in the dirt.
