Central/Southern Oregon Bombvoy to Portland July 14th???

I have the Timberline Dodge event on my calendar for July 14th. Wondering if there is any interest of other members in traveling North together? Talked with Tlippy today, and he is interested, plus another non memeber from Bend. Sparky are you still out there? I was thinking of going from Bend to Sisters, picking up Tlippy and then going over the Santiam Pass to Salem, where we could meet up with anyone headed North on I-5 and then onto Portland. What do you all think?

Anybody have a schedule of events and times yet? Is pre-registration needed? Other than the sketchy information (so far) on this site, I am clueless. Does anybody have more information that they could e-mail or fax?

This will be my first time ever to any event, so it is kind of the blind leading the blind here.

Shelby and Sparky... my brother-in-law lives in Bend... he just bought a 2001 ETC 5spd. I subscribed to the TDR for his first year for him. I also mentioned this event and that you were going to BOMBvoy up... he sounded interested! If he doesn't post, I will let ya know...

Be glad to meet with you sometime. I live near Reed Market and 27th in Bend. Next time you are at COSTCO, you will only be about 1. 5 miles away. My mother-in-law lives in Terrebonne and my brother-in-law lives in Madras, so I go your way once in a while too.



Anyway, I hope this run up to Timberline works, and all of us in Central Oregon can finally meet up.

Just got my notice from Timberline today. The event starts at 11:00. I would allow about 4 hours of travel time. That would get us there with a little time to spare, but would not allow any time for sprucing up for the shown n shine. Need to see what everybody wants to do, but I think a 06:00 departure from Bend, would give us time for a breakfast stop, perhaps The Gallery in Sisters, plus time to clean up the rigs upon arrival. Just throwing out ideas here. Anybody else got any thoughts, please feel free to jump in. Sparky may be coming from Sisters,That should be LaPine, (Tlippy is in Sisters) and I have a non member friend here in Bend who may be interested too. It would be kind of cool to meet up with any folks coming up I-5 from the South at a set time in Salem, and then all convoy up I-5 together. Don't know if that would work, but if there is interest we could try and plan it that way.

Im not sure if i am going through Bend or up the I-5. I have a friend that lives in Bend he may come with me, besides I love Bend for Mountian Biking!
