Big Yellow Iron you out there?

For all of you who were missing today at the Waco meet, we are planning another one for the 1st weekend in December. Either the 1st or 2nd of Dec, let me know what works for you guys and where is a good area to do it. Cumminsgetme has a G-Tech that is a lot of fun to play with and he might be persuaded to bring it along.

Just wondering where you guys meet and what goes on, 1 day ect. Waco is about a 5 hour drive for me! Are you planning a dyno trip to Tulsa Ok. on the 8th of Dec. I'd like to get more involved with the TDR members but no one is around here except in Tulsa, guess I need to make a meet here in OKC next year and do some Drag stuff at TVRP. Maybe if I can come down I can get INARUSH 76 to come down with me(haven't forgot you buddy) I really want to get him to do my transmission first then we'll do some PR and show folks what it is all about... . DTT stuff!

This time it is a group of local guys just hangin around a parking lot and talking trucks and horsepower and getting something to eat. Maybe 2-3 hours, not much for a long drive but you are very welcome to join us and if you are ever planning a trip this way let us know and maybe we can schedule something that works for you. We dont have a set time do these get togethers just when ever some one says hey lets do it. The big event was the Kerrville meet that lasted 2 days and had some noteworthy folks attend like Piers, Bill Kondalay, Joe Donnelly and others. It was a great time and was at a nice campground and well worth the trip.

The second would be better for me. If you decide to have it on the first I couldn’t make it until 3:00 -4:00. Also what did you think of the G-tec? Cord and I put some money to gather and bought it, haven’t had a chance to use it yet just wondering how well it worked. I live in-between Gatesville and Clifton any location near Waco is easy for me.

Cant wait

I have to work saturday but I'll be free all day sunday. We had a real good time. Maybe we'll have a better turn out this time since people will have a little more time to plan.

Well what happened to every body, nobody wants to have some truckin fun? Lets try for the 2nd(Sunday). The G-Tech is a fun goodie, I would like to try it again. Does anybody have any suggestions for where to meet? Come on you guys I know you would rather talk trucks than spend the day with the honeydo list.

Going to South Padre this weekend. The first weekend of the month is never a good time for me.

Anybody have some 215 injectors laying around :D :D

Well it was posted as being the 2nd of Dec but whatever works for every body is ok with me. How about it guys which is best for you the 2nd or 9th?

Dec 2 fine for me just were and what time. I know a place were we could use a set of scales to weight our pick-ups. The closer the weights are the more accurate the G-Tech is. The only bad thing is its out side of Gatesville. Maybe we could meet in Gatesville then go use the scales (in the country no cops on the race out). That’s just my thoughts Gatesville might be a little far.

There are several guys that cant make it on the second so how about the 9th. can everybody do that? And for those who want to do the 2nd thats fine with me too, we can do both days as far as I am concerned, cant do too much Diesel stuff right? (dont let my wife see this) so post your thoughts and we can set a place.

I'm leaving this one up to everyone else. . I'm open for either or/both days. .

Bryan

Cody (gen 1 4x4) can't make it until the 9th... .

Both are fine with me. I know for sure that me and Cord are going to be in the Waco area this weekend. Doesnt bother me if we have it both. I'm just ready to meet some of you and see how well your trucks run.

Justin

After some discussion with interested parties it was decided to meet in the old Wal mart parking lot like last time. 11:30am Sunday the 2nd. We are also meeting again next sunday the 9th at a place to be decided later but possibly in Temple so the Austin guys can make it too.

Here are the directions to this Sundays meet.

Take I-35 into the middle of Waco, dont know exit #, but Take Valley Mills exit and go West. If you go the wrong way you will see the Elite Cafe and the traffic circle turn around and go the other direction, It is about 2 or 3 miles approximate, when you go over another road like on a over pass you are almost there, there is a Just Brakes on the right and Taco Bell and Tractor Supply on the left and we will be in that parking lot right at the street. Also a Casa Ole and Dollar General in the same parking lot.
