I just ordered some Centramatics. I also just recently mounted some 285 BFG A/T's and they are a heckuva lot rougher and shake at highway speeds compared to my stock 265 tires. Anyway, I've heard glowing reviews of the Centramatics so I'm gonna try 'em out. I also put 3-4K miles a month on my truck so having to pay for tires to be rotated and balanced every 5K miles would get expensive.

I'll keep the Centramatics for as long as I'll have my truck, so they will easily pay for themselves in rotate & balance bills alone. I'll post my results on here once I install 'em.

Shawn

You should still rotate the tires or they will not wear evenly, no balancer can prevent that.

What I meant to say is I won't have to pay someone to rotate AND balance my tires. Now, I can just rotate 'em myself.

I've got a question for you fellas who have installed the Centramatics... . I got mine mounted today and the outside ring touches the backside of my aluminum wheels. Is that normal? The center part of the Centramatics do lay flat on the center of my wheels, but I was unsure if it was normal for the outside ring to touch the wheel?

I thought I remembered reading that was the reason the spacer was needed?? But I also remember reading that if they "just" touch the rim that was ok/normal??

They only sent me a set of spacers and I had to use them on the front in order for the center of the C'matics to lay flush on the center of the wheels. The "B" set of C'matics made for the back wheels lay flat against the center of the wheels so the spacer isn't needed.

Even with the spacers on the front, I'm still touching the back of the wheels
