cbunt1 / Hagar,

Are both of you driving your trucks for work or something?

11 months with 119,000? 10,800 miles a month?

360 miles a day????

I have 2 2003 trucks I'm am servicing at our dealership the one has been in service 16 months and has 260,500 miles and the other has been in service 19 months with 222,000 . The one truck put on 18,000 miles in 44 days.

Wow!

these trucks never quit amazing me. in all those miles l've only done about $1k worth of repairs. talk about low cost of ownership!

yes--i do use it in the trucking industry. in fact, I'm about 850 miles from home right now.

DCTECH,

What kind of repairs/replacement parts have these trucks had, with over 200K miles. Is there anything they are consistantly replacing, say every 50K miles, or something? I'm pretty sure of the block, has there been any common rail and/or injector issues, in the long-term?

700 club ,,,, 700miles that is got to go visist her in may this year and get her ready to pull out of the garage in dec and into service from south dakota to jax florida. Need to have the wife get it out, already getting plans for her to get it service for tsb/recalls. little worried about the wife driving that far with her. .

Can't wait to get back to the states from bahrain... . usn... . :)

If you mean the TDR magazine 100,000 mile club it tells you how in the magazine but basically you have to send in a picture of the odometer.

Hey David, I'm setting home right now, have to pick up a mounted buffalo head for the owner of Jayco trl. Mfg. in the morning and deliver it to Middlebury In. , gotta do a little brown noseing when ya get the chance. :) Quite unusual cargo, but what the hey!! Pays good, and tows easy.

I thought I had pretty high mileage till I saw some of the other numbers, 158K+.

I stopped by Geno's Garage a few mo. ago to pick up some filters, and Robin gave me my 100K tag.

I haul rv's for the factories.

My dad and I, and 3 of our friends do it, we have 4 2003's and a 1999, the 99 goes thru trannies like crazy, he's had 3 in 250,000 miles but his engine is still going strong.

our freind Johns truck lost the lift pump at 65,000 miles and his auto transmission at 97,000, luckily warrenty covered both.

my dads truck lost the lift pump at 106,000 miles and u-joints at 120,000(he's at 150,000 miles now)

my trucks only problems so far have been u-joints going bad now(still need to find aftermarket ones) and my transmission will lock in 1st when warm, if I shift back to park then into drive again it works fine, (dealer couldn't figure it out) and a constant problem with these rotten Goodyear tires sidewalls falling apart.

Mine will be 17 months old tomorrow, (bought on Feb. 14, 03) now has almost 139,000 miles on it. Very few problems, still going strong, dragging a trailer everyday.
