Ceramic light sockets

Thought I would post this here for all generations to see. This is NOT an Ad and I am not connected with the company - but after searching I found Autolumination.com who can provide polished ceramic headlight and accessory light sockets with 6" pigtail harness. This is a great match for brite box or performance bulb issues where the sockets start to melt - I just changed mine!!

Thanks for that website.

I just checked it out, and to my surprise, they have 6 volt LED bulbs.

I've been needing a full set of LED replacement bulbs for years, but no 6 volts were available.

I have a nice old 57 Porsche Speedster, with the orig. 6 volt elect. system. The old lights are slow, dim, and terrible at night.

I'll definately be contacting them soon.

I was even concidering switching over to an all 12 volt system, but I would much rather keep it original. Now it looks like I can have my cake, and eat it too!

I would also like to upgrade the headlights on my 98-12V.

Did you just do an upgrade on yours? If so, what did you go with, and how do you like them?
