CF TDR Meet

The next CF TDR meeting will be held at SouthEast Power Systems on April 12th. SE Power is located about 5-6 miles north from the Intersection of Hwy 50 and Hwy 441. They are on US 441 as you leave this Orlando intersection heading north toward Apopka.



They have planned a great program, so hope everyone can make it to SE Power. Just let me know if you will be able to attend, so that SE Power will be able to plan for everything.

My truck is there right now getting the lift pump changed. I'll let everyone know how it goes. What time is the get together on Saturday anyway?

Got my truck back on wednsday afternoon. No headaches or suspicous looks because I have gauges. Frank is the "Performance Center Manager" and he is very courteous and professional. Their little showroom is loaded with all things diesel, including towing, enhancements,ect. Hope we have a decent turn out. Oh by the way I now fuel pressure again!

I thought the program today was pretty nice and the turn out of folks was good as well. Thanks to Southeast Power for hosting us.

Southeast Power Systems of Orlando hosted the Central Fla. TDR Chapter. What a Great Day we had!

The day started with a brief introduction from George Watson the president of Southeast Power giving some history on the company that has been in business for over 50 years. Then Keith the general manager and Frank the performance center manager discussed many of the performance options that they provide for Dodge/Cummins . Anything from a complete Banks power up grade to power modules such as Diablo Power Pucks, Exhaust brakes, U. S. Gear over/under drives, AFE air filters, replacement injectors(as they are a authorized Bosch Dealer).

Then we had lunch.

After Lunch we toured the facility starting in the injection pump test room. They have four injection pump test stand including a NEW Bosch 815 test stand for the VP-44 injection pump. This will be one of only a few in the state. It's so new that it's still in the installation phase. Next we were shown where they tear down and rebuild injectors, they deal with all types of diesel pumps and injectors.

Afterwards we were taken to a deminstration of the cummins software used to trouble shoot a Dodge with a 24 valve that had been brought in with a low power complaint.

There were two door prizes given out one was an oil change and the other was a Diablo Power Puck!! We had one VERY HAPPY TDR member!

I think this was the best event so far of the 3 or 4 that I have been to. Lots of good info and ideas exchanged between owners and the employees who were very knowledgable about these engines. Looking forward to the next meeting. See Ya!
