I have applied for a CFN fuel card locally. Not sure if it will save much money, but will try it and see. They change their prices every Monday based on the current market. They do offer a 3% discount if paid within 12 days, that might be about the only savings, although one would think it would be cheaper initially.
My local CFN affiliate has what they call "Super Diesel" This is apparently an additive they obtain from Knox Oil of Texas, Inc. This was formerly known as "Knox Super Red Natural Premium Diesel"
Has anybody used this fuel? Any apparent advantages, or is it just marketing hype?

Update 14:25 PST 03-05-01 I got approved for the card already and added about 1/2 tank of the Super Diesel. The CFN price locally will beat any retail outlet it looks like. They quoted $1. 59 and with the 12 day quick pay I get a 3% discount, so $1. 55. I believe the lowest retail price in the area is currently $1. 57.
The "Super Diesel" additive is put in year round, plus a winter additive in the cold months. They told me they are going to start tapering off the winter additive soon.
Here is a link to the "Super Diesel" additive, not much info though.
