Ok I have a challenge for the aftermarket companies if any are watching our website. We all know that on certain models that front wheel bearings are not servicable. Can someone anyone look into making a set up that will enable us to have servicable front bearings. I asked this before and was told I could drop back to I think it was the 97 model front spindle and rotor but that would leave me without the dual piston calipers( I think ) and would be a step backwards in my braking power. So if all we need is 97 parts that will accept the dual piston calipers what is the holdup? Can it be that hard to do?
I would not mind paying the $200 or more to have this upgrade and be done with it and have only the bearings to pack from time to time. Not to mention being able to have the rotors turned off the truck instead of the whole truck needing to be taken the shop.
What say ye in TDR land am I off my rocker here? Is this possible?
Thanks, Scott
