Attention: TDR Forum Junkies I changed my coolant and thermostat yesterday. Bought thermostat and coolant from Cummins. Old thermostat was a 180* as is the new one. I bought the Cummins Fleetguard Complet EG pre-mix. Made it slick and easy. The engine seems to be running a little cooler, but I did not have hot enough weather or time enough to hook up a heavy load and really test it yesterday. I suspect it will remain about the same under loaded conditions.
My temp has always run 190 - 195 in the hot summer loaded and I was hoping to lower it to the left of the 190* mark. I will let you know what I find when I get my next good load.
