Hey Scott. If youre just running highway miles and no towing ,I'd push it to 5000 mile intervals. I run Rotella 15w40 to 5000 mile intervals including some towing and get good results according to Blackstone Labs... . Delo is at least as good as Rotella... . Makes the math easy too... ... ...

Redram... lighten up a bit. The zip top lessens the chance of a very small piece of foil pushed in by your screwdriver or knife to end up lodged in one of your beloved piston cooling nozzles. One less worry. Not being lazy. Peace brother. :)

Bill/Steve,

I directed it to the 1st U-joint in the driveline, not the one in the axle by the brakes. I'm sure it is sealed but will this hurt anything?

I would hope that it doesn't hurt anything but if your plan of lubing the joint with it does work it might be a problem. If road grit impregnated oil is making into the u-joint bearings they aren't going to last long. My feeling is that nothing is making it into the bearings, you're just getting the outside all oily.

I prefer to extend my blowby to about 8" off the ground so the oil hits the road rather than the truck.
