Changes for 2005??

I am considering trading up to a 2004 or 2005. Has anyone heard of the changes being done for 2005?

The only thing I've seen is the availability of a moon roof.

For 2005, their is to only be the introduction of a moon roof as already stated, and some emblum changes on the exterior.



The biggest changes will be for the 2006 model year. Their will be a refreshment of the interior, new introduction of the 6. 1 L. V-8 gas, Rumored Mega Cab or extended crew cab.



Those are what I've heard so far. But, of course, nothing is set in stone!

What about the Power Wagon option? Anyone know more detail on this?

I know that the Power Wagon option is to come with a 12-thousand pound wench, electric locking front differencials, 5. 7 L Hemi, 35 inch tires, and I think it is to come in either reg. cab, or quad cab!

I just happened to rec. the new Truck Trend mag. today and it has an article on the PW in it. It will only be offered in the 140. 5 wheelbase and is based on the 3/4 ton platform. To date it will only be avail with the Hemi mated to the 5 speed auto. but in Jan 2005 the 6sped manual will be avail. The diffs will be 4. 56 ratio with manually selected locking. It will have a taller stance but with softer spring rates. Also with Bilstein shocks. Tires will be the 33" Bfg TA tires. There will be a integrated brace mount for a Warn 12K winch. It will also have a "Smart Bar" device. Which is an electonically controlled connect and disconn. sway bar for more articulation in the ruff. And you can even get a sunroof!!! It will have skid plates, additional cooling for the eng and trans and higher output alternator and batt.
