Has there been any posts on changing out the booster?

The leaking in mine has increased and thinking about changing it out. Has anyone purchased the unit NAPA sells? thanks RJ

This is a first, seems like I have found a problem and no answers. Well, were back up to the top anyway. I know I read about these boosters before somewhere but can't find it. I had read a post that they were dealer only items, so I was surprised when they had them at NAPA for 200$. I always like to here about hands on experiences before I tackle a new project. It's those little tips that make me go grab some tools. Actually I am tired of changing out the diaper I have on the steering column

and unsure of what it will do if it blows out on the road.

thanks RJ

Give Sam Peterson a call, he will be glad to walk you though it 360/357-4958. I've never messed with one but assume it would be pretty straight forward.

In fact if I recall he can get hydroboost rebuild kits much cheaper than what you paid.
