Changing injector nozzles?

Has anyone changed their own injector nozzles? Say just got the edm'ed nozzles and put them in your stock bodies? If so what's involved it it. I could get "stage 3 jammer nozzles" for under half of what the injectors sell for. I'm sure others have seen this too. Just curious as to what has to be done. The guy said it wasn't hard to do and that the pop off presures didn't need to be checked, but it wouldn't be a bad idea. I just want to know why they're so much cheaper, there has to be a reason.

I think we are lookiong at the same thing. I got the stage II Jammers from the guy in Texas and should be getting them in the mail this week. I don't want to take any chances so I have a guy thats going to replace the nozzle and test them and then I will install them. He does a lot of injectors so he said for about $75 he will give me a set of housings, change the nozzles, and test them for me. That way I have my factory ones on hand. Hopefully they work out as well as a set of jammers that you can buy for 600+

I know Bob, but they're supposed to be jammers the question is are they? I didn't want to be a guinea pig so that's why I'm asking here before I bought them. Usually if something sounds too good to be true it is, but ya never know, I get a lot of good deals too. Russ those are the ones I had seen. Please keep me posted as I'm curious about them and how they work. I have faotory ones for housings, but I'd like to have somebody else change and test them, I'd hate to screw it up. Good luck

I changed the nozzles out on mine to the 215 tips. Its not really hard to do. I tested them before I put them back in, none of them needed to be shimmed up with the new tips.
