Maybe I missed it - but: how does one change the PS fluid?

I'm going to install a Milemarker Hydraulic Winch in a couple of weeks and one of the "options" they recommend is a small "inline Hydraulic Filter" Go to this site; http://www.winchesplus.com/ and look at the "Accessories" window on the left - you'll see an inline filter. When we spend so much on our vehicles why haven't I seen this, or something like it, as a common addition - or have I missed it?????

About the only way is to either use a suction device to get as much as you can out of the PS reservoir or take the pump off and dump all the fluid out of it.

Still, that will leave a certain amount in the lines, in the brake booster etc. so after you have gotten as much out as possible and refilled it with Valvoline Synpower then drive it for a while and repete the process. After doing this a few times you will have replace nearly all of the fluid.
