Happy Holidays Everyone!
My 2001. 5 has developed several issues. Charging voltage has dropped to approximately 14. 0 volts which does not mean dead battery. It will hold that voltage while running at night. It does crank up slower than normal. The connections are clean & tight to the battery. I was wondering if a bad connection to the battery temperature sensor might cause such a failure?
Seemingly unrelated issues are the Cam position sensor (tach and performance drop off) and loss of oil pressure indication (which the dealership masked with a reflash so gauge shows oil pressure without the engine running)
I guess that some connector could be causing all these troubles? Any ideas?
I know all these functions are controlled by the computer, but where to start?
