Competition Sled Pulling, How is it Done?

There will be 3 classes of diesel pickups, Full Pulls RWYB pickups, Hot semis and Cheater Stock gas trucks..... Please feel free to make suggestions but NO WHINING!

What are the rules like? Can tube-chassis trucks hook?

RWYB covers a lot of ground... .

Matt

Loretta: Thanks for the clarification.

In the meantime - I've switched beer brands. I picked up a case of Miller Lite... I figure that if I can't hook like a champion, I may as well drink like one (Tisdale).

Matt

Please don't let me catch you drinking or you might see the exit sign much sooner than you may have anticipated. I hate to sound harsh, but if you mix alcohol and competition that will only lead to problems.

We are out to have a good time and support a good cause!

Jtisdale ONLY needs 3 good tires to beat you Gene!!! Since you won't bring your truck... . ha ha ha at lest he's giving you a fighting chance with one bad tire.

Whats the deal, the cords weren't showing yet in the fourth?

Honestly Gene, what did I ever do to deserve that? I am gonna pull the front left off to make weight.

Matt, enjoy in moderation. . but not in competition ;)

Craig, thanks for the vote of confidence. :-laf

It really sounds like its gonna be a great event. I am going to do my best to see that I can make it. I should know more in a week or two. Oo.

We've found a typo in the street stock rules. The inducer wheel size limit is 2. 5" NOT 2. 8". We want to keep this a "true" street class. I'm sorry for any inconvenience. Lorretta Mitchell

We have added 2 trophies. One for "Farthest Distance Travelled" (open to both competitors and spectators) and the other is for "Best of Show" (voted on by everyone).

We'll also have a couple fun activities for the children!

Just 10 more days... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... .

See you at the pull!

It should be a good show as is sounds like the open class will have all three "House's of Power" represented.

Craig

I heard Kent was going to a pull in KY instead - who all in the open class will be there in running condition? Dave, Kent, Van, Terry? Is Dave's truck even running after last weekend?

Chris

Dave talked with Kent and Van yesterday and both said they are coming and bringing trucks with them.

All of the EEP guys are up and running including Dave's.

Looks like a great line up from the response we've been getting.

See you at the pull!

The grounds at Glenford are very dry so a little rain will not stop the fun! You can try our shop at 740 246-6329 if you have quesions. If there is no answer you can call my cell phone at 740 973-0205.

See you tomorrow!

Well congratulations on the first annual pull! It was unreal how many many trucks showed up from all over for this event. I got there late so I missed seeing Enterprise's truck as well as Schied's pull. In the future not just for me but others I think it would be nice if they pulled later than they did. Not near midnight when we left :) but more towards the middle. Even when I got there parking was at a premium. We had to park out past the baseball field and it was half full. The spectator side was packed. We would have been there earlier but we were getting tractors and plows ready for next week. All in all I think it was a HUGE success. I will be there next time earlier to see the big boys pull you can bet on that. Now looking forward to the Fairfield County Fair pull on Thursday night in Lancaster. Great little pull.
