Im developing a Kit for the 1994 - 1998 12V Cummins

It will replace the lines and fittings from the Outlet of the LP to the Inlet of the P7100 . the fittings being used are The Vfff Vulcan fittings ... Eric and I have been working together on this for a while now and we have it just about ready to go to market .

Here's the basic lay out of the Kit

Anyone that would like more info email me

Is this more of a BomB for high HP applications where massive amounts of fuel are going through the P7100, Or is it to get rid of the troublesome Rubber lines that tend to leak air?

On both Beta trucks there were no rubber lines all connections were hard lined then choked down to the very small banjo hole . 137 ... this kit increases that to 3/8 ID allows more fuel and less restriction . HP / TQ gains have not been tested , But I will donate a kit to anyone who has a dyno readly avalible for a before and after run just to see if there is a gain in these numbers .

I think on trucks flowing a lot of fuel a second lift pump will still be necessary. This may help the middle of the road guys?

The kits will be 3/8 so they will hold more pressure and fit on the vfff at the LP Outlet with out rubbing anything ...

On 1 beta truck we have running on a 1/2 kit and when its running you can feal the fuel pulseing through the fuel lines and they are hard as a rock when WOT the lines dont loosen up any thats for sure ... .

tURBOdIEZEl is going to be our dyno beta ,,, Im not claiming more hp/tq just courious and the results will be reported either way .

The whole reason for the kit is to make more fuel avalible ,,,it has caused both the beta trucks to idle smoother and run threw the fuel curve smoothly also . And it seems alot of the 12V guys are worried about Air Getting In The OEM System , so this is also a fix for that . The kit will include a tapped Alum Tee to run a Fuel Pressue Gauge if you want .

I think you mean more volume not pressure.

The problematic areas for air entering the fuel system is at the fuel heater, pre lift pump, and the rubber fuel supply and returns lines. The other fuel lines do not seem to be problematic.

The 3/8 when compared to the 1/2inch Fuel Line will hold more pressure It would be less Volume , We tried and have got the trucks to work on the 1/2 inch lines but the connection on the Outlet of the LP is to close to the engine to use 1/2 inch lines safly

The 3/8 inch fuel line we use is rated at higher prssures then the 1/2 inch fuel lines

----------------

You can order more fittings from Eric to replace the others , we tore it all apart and the OEM fittings used on the fuel heater , prefilter are not as restrictive as the banjo's

Ive got a few emails from people wanting to by pass the fuel heater completely . .

these are all things that can be done with this kit plus a few more parts from Vulcan.
