2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Chassis Cab

Did dodge make a "factory" 1 ton chassis cab option in the second gens. Regular cab with two frame lengths, one for a 10' bed one for a 12' bed. Just kinda curious. Or did they only come in 1 ton pickup regular and ex cab. or was there even chassis cab at all. I am really interested in the years between 2000-2002.

Yes, they did. They were available in SRW and DRW, with 60" CA and 84" CA.

But, low payload, and frame rails that were not straight didn't help dodge out any, since 99% of utility body and flatbed manufactures built theier beds for straight frame rails like the chevy and Ford. Putting a Flatbed on a Dodge is not a bolt-on operation.
