Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Chassis dyno---3 questions

1. Can someone recommend a good chassis dyno near Houston (south side if possible)?



2. What is a normal charge for a dyno pull?



3. Is a dyno pull hard on the stock auto trans? I'm at 151,000mi, and no apparent problems.

ET Motorsports in Pasadena has an inground Superflow dual eddy current dyno. I've spent a lot of time on it in my truck running tests. Usual price is about 75 for 2 or 3 pulls depending on the shop.

If you're not in too much of a hurry, we are planning to have a dyno day there in the not too distant future and you can usually get it done cheaper then. Not to mention the chance to hang out with a bunch of other dieselheads.
