Hey guys... posting for a buddy who has a '97 Dually.

He got it last year right here on the TDR... Thanks!

We're doing a complete fluid change, and he wants to lube the chassis while we're at it, but neither one of us has done this, can anyone give me info on the places to hit with the grease gun?

Thanks!

Also, can anyone shoot me a list of which spec fluids to use for his diffs and trans (5-spd manual) ?

Thanks!

The 5 spd used a GL-4 gear lube, I believe 75w-90. ( I just changed mine and used Amsoil)

The diffs use GL-5 75w-90 ( I use 75w-140 Amsoil gear lube).

I will have to look at owners manual to ge specific weights they recommend. I will have also look in owners manual to see if they list components that need lubing(service manual did not list them).

In the mean time anything with a jerk nipple (except jerk fitting on drum brakes) on it I would lube it. Sorry I don't recall ever lubing mine, my Mule gets lubed at every oil change by my mechanic. But from being under the truck I don't recall seeing many jerk nipples (grease fittings).
