Re: Politically incorrect TDR 10 year survey

7. Best subject in the chat room

8. Best over-exaggeration of HP and 1/4 mile times

7. Best subject in the chatroom. Mandoll wins, hands down. Wait, I guess it really wouldn't be "hands" down...

8. Best exageration of HP and 1/4 mile times. We can make this easy by doing away with 1/4 mile times and just make it HP. Then just do a search for any post by "Sled Puller" :-laf :-laf

Oh God the Mandoll :-laf :D

Four days and Fireman Dave and the other missing Cheesers haven't checked in? Is Dave burying his daughter's latest boyfriend?

Ah, the halcyon days when we could freely be politically incorrect, and Ms. Robin knew to stay away from chat. (Of course, had she connected while the Chat Freaks were gathered, I'm sure we would have deferred to her sensibilities. Well, at least for a couple minutes. :D) When we could discuss the benefits of Real Doll vs. Mandoll and argue the proper operation of each. When pron was often the main topic. When I programmed my chat client to translate what I entered into 'Gene-speak'. When we only discussed diesel if an 'outsider' popped in with questions.

Brings to mind an old song: "Those were the days, my friends; we thought they'd never end. We'd sing and dance, forever and a day. ... " Well, OK; we weren't *that* gay! But we sure had a lot of great laughs!

ROTFLMAO:-laf :-laf

Those WERE the good old days, eh? I can't go on that link right now - I'm at work. But I remember it well. The realdolls (and the mandoll especially) was a classic. We considered it our initiation into the chat to introduce it to any newbies who came along. And to think - they probably went in there to talk about trucks. LOL We would often be watching that old lady on the Oxygen channel while we were chatting and then reacting to things she was displaying on that show. LOL

I think Dan (danandamy) had the biggest impact on my chat behavior (and the dark side it evolved into :-laf ). We spent way too much time in there, but it was all good. When the chat first came along, there were about 5 or 6 of us who seemed to be in there every night. Then more came along and before long we had about 25 regular delinquints in there. I ended up meeting a lot of them in person along the way - all good people in person too. My typing was never sharper than it was during that time, too.

I'd be up for a reunion chat some night - if I have time. That's the big problem now, I'm too busy lately. But I'd try to make it if someone comes up with a date and time. Maybe a weekend night - 9:30pm central time?

Chime in Freaks!

It lives! Dave! How you are? Ooops. French is the wrong accent, ya sure, you betcha by golly! (My sister actually used that as part of her wedding vows in The Mini-Apple!)

Hmmm. I just finished reading 'Fatal Cure' - only took about 5 hours - and have no plans for this evening (something we no-life Chat Freaks were reknowned for). So how about today (Saturday), 9:30PM CDT? Dad and I won't rent a movie (something we rarely do anyway), so I'll be in chat! In no time, we'll be awash in nostalgia, as Tom Lehrer famously intoned.

If we need a semi-hemi-demi-reunion that includes all the Cheesehead Alumni, I'll be at the DHRA sled pull at the Racine County Fairgrounds 6/9 (a week after IRP). I'll be sure to arm myself with diminishing 12 ounce curls of Gatorade. :) My duties will be minimal during the pull, and I'll have lots of sponsor swag to throw at spectators. :D

I'm not one of the old chat freaks but i'll be in the chat all day (to include 9:30 CDT) just cus I would like to see the chat grow again.

oops - missed it by 3 hours. Sorry - got busy today and didn't get to the computer until a little while ago. I'll try to keep more in touch if you guys want to shoot for another night.
