Cheap fuel pressure test guage

I found a fuel pressure test guage at Sears for about $40. 00 that has the fittings installed. The guage says it is not for Deisel, but I called the Manuf. and they claimed that the restriction was to keep someone from using it on the high pressure side or mixing deisel and gas. I have used it for static testing only b/c the hose is not long enough to reach out of the hood or into the cab. It also has a drain valve and hose that you can use to simulate high fuel usage rates. It has worked for me and I can not find fault except that it can not be used on test drives.
