Hey I've heard the larger SPS turbos will bolt right up if you have a 04. 5+ but I have a 03 HO 6speed and have a Silverbullet in the mail. I already have a pice of 4" where the muffler once lived and now I need a the rest on up. I dont want to spend the additional $$$ on a special downpipe from II if I can get a used 04. 5+ or factory dodge pices and special clamps

Id the factory dodge down pipe a few pices vs one pice from an aftermarket?

I already read the thread on certian part# for the elbow clamp and pipe but need to know how much they are and any additional pipe needed.

Thanks

Dan

Thanks

You will need either - the stock elbow, clamp, and downpipe from a 2004. 5 or newer 6 speed truck or the hx 40 downpipe from just about anyone that sells those turbos. I think I sell them for about $175.

The way there website reads is that the upgraded down pipe only applies to automatic transmission trucks. It says that six speed turbo's are a direct bolt on.

It will bolt right up on the 6 speed, If you have the auto just order it with the large flange for 03/06 and it will bolt right up to most exhaust t. o. p's,but you will have to modified you transmission dip stick. . Of course you will need the Boost fooler for 04. 5 & up.

ok so I'm good to go with the way my factory 3. 5" down pipe is right now. No other mods including a clamp are nessacry.

What all do I need if I find a used factory 4" off a 6-speed?

Yes I know therodically 4" is better but will I be able to tell a difference between the two?

Thanks

The flange off the Turbo is the same 03/06 , 03/04 has a exhaust elbow reduces the flange to 3. 5. So if you find a T. O. P that 4" you will have to downsides it to 3. 5 with a new reducer coupling,Its not worth it if you say under MAX 450HP.
