cheapest place to buy an EDGE COMP

Looking to purchase an Edge Comp. I have seen them for $499 on ebay brand new in box. Are there cheaper places to buy them from? What would you guys recommend?

That is a good price. Word of caution though, they are year specfic. eg. A Comp for a 01. 5 won't fit on a 02 without an adapter. I've seen ad's on ebay that say 98. 5-02...

Jon at City Muffler and Performance has great prices and he's on Ebay. I don't have his number in front of me but you can find him on Ebay. Give him a call and he'll negotiate a deal for you. That's where I picked my comp up for $500 new.

I'm thinking about replacing my Ottomind with a Edge Comp box also - I personally would spend an extra $50 if necessary to buy it from someone I know and trust - especially with the probablility of a problem or return in the future.

Eric Lee- If your like me, you will love the difference the Edge box makes. I dumped an Ottomind to go with Edge, and it was probably the best mod I did to the truck. Ryan

Ryan - did the Banks guages work alright standing alone or did you replace those also? Where and how did you get a signal for boost for the Banks gauge? I would assume the Banks EGT would take the signal right from the probe.



I'm glad you chimed in with your positive reply because I'm sitting on the fence about this upgrade with at least $500 allready in the Ottomind. The Comp is a $500 I really don't have to spend but like always there is a TDR brother to egg me on! - Eric

Eric- I bought a new boost gauge, because I wanted one that read a little higher. I went with Isspro. The Banks Pyro worked fine. When all was said and done, all I had left of the "Power Pack" was a monster exhaust system, turbo housing and high ram air intake. Like you I had Suncoast do the transmission. When you put on the Edge, its gonna scream. I am sure you will be happy with the 500. 00 you spend. Especially since it looks like you have spared no expense so far! TTT - I guess I need to rip a little on the fly by night e-bay sellers and all the ****** out there peddling diesel products with little or no expenses, undercutting the legit dealers with real storefronts with furnaces and lights and phones... ... . that provide after purchase support and back the products they sell.

I have been looking around for an Edge EZ and found one at www.rpmoutlet.com for 409. 95 free shipping but there is a $7. 50 handling fee. That is about as low as I have seen it. I checked but they do not carry the Comp. My question is has anyone dealt we them?
