Who is going to buy this for me.....

Prayer Request

Ok guys, After i finally got my new speakers broken in, I started tuning my stereo today and boy to my front doors have a pretty bad rattle. It looks like it's time to Dynamat all 4 doors and get rid of this rattles... they're driving my nuts.

It is going to take quite a bit of dynamat to cover all 4 doors, any suggestions on where is the best place to purchased this stuff?

Also for the people using dynamat, are you coating the outside of the door (in between the door panel and the actual door), or are you also coating the inside of the door?

Thanks

Kev

Hey Kevin how goes it? For the Dynamat try www.thezeb.com (TDR member John provided the tip) when I bought some from them last year their price was far and away the cheapest for the dynomat extreme. I got the dynomat extreme bulk kit and it was like 149 (I think it was 36sq ft). I used on the inside of the outside door skin, the inside of the inside door skin and the outside of the inside door skin(if that makes sense). Definitely helped. I also did the same with the quad doors. I also used some brown bread from www.b-quiet.com it is cheaper and seems close spec wise to the dyno extreme but you get over twice (70sf) as much for about the same price. However having used both side by side at the same time the dynomat "seems" to be of better quality by the look and feel of it. Don't know if the dyno works any better though. I ended up doing the front and rear doors as mentioned above, the back wall and rear floor with 2 layers. Then it started raining and I have not gotten around to finishing the front of the cab maybe this year. By the way I still have a little left but not enough to finish (I started with 36sf of dyno and 70sf of brown bread). Do it on a nice sunny day and just lay the mat in the sun when you start and it will cut easy and go in great.

I bought 100 sqft of FatMat on ebay for about a buck a square foot. I split it with my brother-in-law and did all four doors, the floor, and the rear cab wall with a little less than 50 sqft. He hasn't used his yet, so I'm going to see if I can buy his half back and door another layer on the doors and do the cab roof. Try ebay, good prices on there.

www.mcmaster.com . Part # 9709T19.

It's the same thing as dynamat, with no logo, and much cheaper. Under $15 a roll.

I actually have about 4 rolls of the earlier version (9709T18 - no longer produced) still in the shipping box, that I no longer need, if you're interested.
