I've bought a lot of products that don't quite live up to the hype, but the Mag-Hytec is the exception. I can't say enough good things about that cover. Not only do you get 4 more quarts of fluid in the Dana 80 axle, but the ability to easily monitor the fluid with that magnetic dipstick makes it worth the money. I have to believe that with the attitudes toward upkeep that I've noticed around here, anyone having the Mag-Hytec cover will probably extend the life of their differential considerably. And on top of all of that, it looks good. You don't have to worry about RTV either, because of the O-ring supplied which is re-usable. Chrysler ships the trucks from the factory without synthetic which in these trucks IMHO is a big mistake. I'm not surprised that I've heard of all of the problems with rear seals that have been posted here. Nice job on detail for cleaning the surface, Vaughn. It's a bit time consuming and tedious, but well worth it when you get the cover back on.
