Check Engine Light 2007

I left the key in the ignition of my 2007 diesel, 5. 9 cummins and did not drive the truck for about 3 weeks. When I went to start it, the batteries were dead. I charged the batteries and started without problems. However, the check engine light continue to be on. How do I fix this?

Depending on the code, it may go off by itself after a few good trips. Try the key cycle routine, on, off, on, off, on. and see if a code(s) comes up on the odometer. Otherwise you need to see the dealer or purchase a scan tool.
