Check Engine light, 4 wheel drive not available

Has anyone had this problem?
You go to start up and you get
Check engine light
4 wheel drive not available
and truck is in limp mode
This just happened on Friday, waiting to take it in on Tuesday

Have not but more and more the FED's have forced manufacturers to set CEL when the problem isn't really directly related to engine or emissions systems. Sometimes they are required to set the CEL for a transmission concern. Until you read the code you really don't know the reason.

Anything else weird like your ESC (Electronic Stability Control) button not turning on/off or cruise control? I would assume in limp mode, there is no cruise, but anything else weird about your dash buttons?
