I installed my BHAF last night and when I started the truck the check engine light was on. The air temp sensor is relocated on the intake and plugged in. I took it for a drive this morning to see if it would go off by itself but no luck. I live in Ridgefield Washington and I would really appreciate it if someone would let me use their code reader to pull the code. I am really curious as to what it might be so I would really like to know the code. Otherwise I would like to hear some ideas that you guys have about what could have tripped the light. I have heard that there is a proceedure to reset the light, should I just reset it and see if it trips again?

Thanks in advance for any help.

You can read the code yourself but cycling the key on and off quickly three times. It will display codes in the milage window.

Could just be the fact that something was unplugged then plugged back in tripping up the computer momentarily. After a few drive cycles it will most like extinguish the light.

If you find the code though, they are listed here somewhere if you do a search.

Most likely you turned the key on while doing the install with the sensor unplugged, or it is not connected correctly. If it was unplugged in either case it will go off in a couple of days.

If I unplug my FCA and plug it back in before turning the key on, I'll get a CEL. Don't know how it does it, but it does.

Do the '07's still have the 3 key flippy thingy available?

Thanks for the info. I went out and got the codes and it is for the air temp sensor. I member now that when I have it unplugged I went in the cab to do something and turned the key on.

Thanks for the help
