Is the check engine light on an '07 the same thing on a Hemi as on the Cummins? Do you reset it the same way?

On my 05, I just disconnect the batteries for about 20 minutes and that will do it. Works on my wife's Jeep the same way. If that's what you are thinking, you are probably right.

Disconnecting batteries does not always work. I tried this approach several times to turn off a lit CEL. Even left them disconnected overnight. CEL still was litwhen I reconnected the batteries. Is this a new feature Mopar has built into the 2006's??. Embedded battery or something we don't know about to retain memory of a lit CEL and associated codes?? I'm open to other's explanation for this lit CEL.

I unhooked it overnight (overkill, but I didn't want to wait 20 minutes... I went to bed) and the light is out. Thanks
