Check engine light came on (42,000 mi on truck). Noted that I should be getting close to oil change time (3500 mi/change). No oil change message yet. No high DPF reading. Checked oil dip stick and had a high reading on stick. I expected that thanks to all the info on this topic. Could high oil level cause extra corbon build up on computer checked equipment, ie. oxygen sensors. Is there a way to check for codes like the older models with the egnition key on, key off sequince?

Thanks ahead of time. It would help to let you know the truck is a 2010, 2500 Ram

No key cycle trick on the 4th gen trucks. Anyone close to you with a code reader? Smarty? Some auto parts stores will check codes for you, too.

(fill in your signature and add truck & location so you don't have to say it each time!)
