Check engine light

The check engine light came on and I got error code P0101... Mass air flow sensor, cleaned the sensor replaced the air filter. How
do I get the light to go out?

How did you check the code? Can your scanner clear the code as well as read it?

if there's a physical problem with the sensor, cleaning it may not fix it. if it won't clear, you may eed a new sensor. a good code reader will also tell you if it is an active code or stored or pending or...?

Oreilly's auto parts used their reader and I don't no if it can clear it.
I'll check with my local mechanic .
