Howdy all, I had the check engine light come on the other day, took it in, dealer pulled codes, battery temperature. Couldn't find anything wrong, reset codes and left it at that. I noticed on the way home the voltmeter was running the high side of 14 and I seem to remember it used to run on the low side. any inputs? Also I'm trying to get them to fix the wind noise on the drivers door, they are saying its my rain deflectors even though I told them it was doing it before I put them on! My passenger door window is about 2 -3 seconds slower than any of the other windows any one else have this problem? They say it's within specs. My A/C doesn't work at idle when you first start it up, I sit in my truck and make phone calls, it can get pretty hot in there, anyone else with this problem? Thanks. John

As far as the A/C is concerned, crawl under the front of your truck and make sure the fan is plugged in. Also, another member reported his compressoer wiring was mis-routed and ended up getting chewed up.

No worries about that battery temp sensor rationality code. It can get thrown sometimes when there's really no problem. The set condition is that the temp sensor reading didn't change at all over a set period of time.

If it was code P- 0514, I would not worry about it, mine has had it twice, both times it went away and when I checked the codes by cycling the key three times it was gone from there as well.

Ditto. Light came on 20Jan and again 23Feb. Dealer says no problem.

I'll check to see if it will reset itself with the key trick next time.
