Check Engine Lite

Ok here is the deal. I am so tired of the CEL in my 2008 I am ready to remove the light from the dash so I don't have to look at it anymore. I have no problem with the truck or how it runs it is just the light and having to deal with bringing it back to the dealer all the time. Is there something out there that I can do or use to either clear the code or eliminate them totaly. I have been to the dealer for the latest flash and still don't see much differance. I also do the thing with the key on and off three times and it show no code just says "done". Thanks in advance for the help

The thing I would be worried about is if diesel smog comes to your state you will have a problem . Something to consider

get an edge insight or other code reader/clearing device. My 08 threw a code just after I drove off the lot. . Pain in the *****. . Finally resolved with significant changes to the truck...

A small piece of black electric tape will take care of that pesky lamp.
