Installed a cummins lp out of the box yesterday. Got fair pressure of 12. 5 at idle. Truck ran like a champ for 20 minutes into town. I parked it and came back out 15 minutes later and NO START. I had ZERO fuel pressure. After a few minutes of cranking and waiting it fired up but ran super rough going home. Investigation at home showed the pump cycled fine but pushed no fuel. All the lines were tight and i had a full tank of fuel. Tore it apart and found the pump was sucking air at a gap under the top plate. All three of the 7/16 nuts on top of the pump were barely past finger tight from the factory. Check them first... wish I had. Runs great now 14. 5/13/10 pressures.
