check guages light

My check guages light comes on periodicly guages are fine all normal The manual just says to check your guages. Whats the deal, does anyone else have this problem?

Read through the TSB index on this site and you will find what you need to know. Hopefully by now the sevice institution you plan to visit will know how to perform this procedure. There was some nasty stuff occurring at first because some were not aware of what had to be done!!

Mine has always done it. I don't think it's something you have to worry about. It doesn't hurt anything.

When they did the first flash update it took care of the problem on ours.

I took mine in for the reflash to correct the hit -n- run Check Gauges light. This caused the instrument cluster catch fire, so the truck sat the the dealer another 3 days awaiting a new instrument ckuster. The new one hasn't dared to flash me...
