Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) check guages, temp ln the hot, cruise flashes

yesterday my truck decided to stumble, VP light came on, temp guage to the max, cruise flashes, check guages light on, tach flutters, all this good stuff! Got it off the road, had fuel psi, took neg posts loose, nope, still not right, so I call DC protection plan, the tow truck shows and off to the deealer we go, now we wait n see! Glad I have the 6/100,000 ext warranty
