Don't blow this off like I did waiting for warmer weather. I can't seem to find the original thread that this came from, but Snow man posted it at the bottom of a thread a few months ago. Sorry if I'm not giving credit to all of the right people.

Check your driver's side intercooler hose for clearance to the fender. As suggested, mine has been in contact and there is a wear mark in the hose. Hopefully I've gotten to it in time. It's very easy to see from underneath and you can bend the fender lip out of the way while you're there.

It's worth putting your shoes on and checking right now!

While you have the hood up might also check the A/C line and stock airbox for interference. I've changed to BHAF, but my original parts were well on their way to wearing a hole through each other.

Iwas the that posted this a few weeks back after discovering mine was cut . I also bent the lip down & also put some old fire hose around it as added protection. If nothing else I,d reccomend bending that fender lip down. the stealer wants $150 for those baby,s,Iwas lucky & found one at a wrecking yard for $75,what a bargain!!!!

Mine is cut at this location, too. The dealer ordered the replacement hose, and I will get it repaired this week. I am not sure if they will bend the fender or slide the intercooler over to get the proper clearance to prevent this from happening again.
