True or not, this is funny

Newbie Fuel question

Todd no apoligy needed. It was in good fun. You can post on the site though without paying. Not the members area but in the D-Max stuff.

YEAH - but ONLY as long as you adhere to a rather strict "company line"... And AS SOON AS you DARE offer an opinion

that in ANY WAY might be construed as "negative" or "disruptive", YOU will be HISTORY - and your post DELETED!

PLUS, as another has noted, a rather high percentage of their posters seem to be (paid?) "GM company shills", spending time on their site primarily to provide a continuous flow of propaganda and stiff topic control intended to hold the DM/Allison in the most favorable light...

BEEN there, done that, and MY comments were actually QUITE mild and offered with sincerely honest and helpful intent...

But *I* was banned from their "free" site just the same...

No problem 'tho - I've since discovered they read my stuff more thoroughly HERE than they did ever THERE anyway... ;) :p :D

Hey Gary, maybe they liked the last line in your sig. I know I do and I'm doing my part(drinking more beer that is) ;) :D :D . Doug

I agree about TDP but I have been a member there for a long time and some guys, who ever, do push the envolope so I guess if you want to play in someone's back yard you have to play by there rules, no mater how dumb you think they are. I have had responses deleted but what are you going to do. If I changed my signature to say something negitive about Dodge trucks how long will I last on this site?

Disappearing posts

I had two posts mysteriously disappear within just

a few hours of making them, and they were not the

kind of post that would normally be *poofed*. I

posted a link to some images that I took with my

digital camera and uploaded to an image site. The

images were of the air filters in the AC/Heater

box under the glovebox area. Someone on the site

was curious about how it worked so I got out my

camera and took apart my truck (2001 GMC Yukon XL)

because I was curious myself.

The next day the post was gone. So I started a

new topic, and the next day it was gone!.

Could it have been because I have pictures of my

Dodge Ram Cummins on the same site? :D Who knows?

Strangely enough I even emailed the moderator

about it and have yet to hear back from them.
