Hello everyone,

I wanted your feedback on my new rig.

2004. 5 CTD 4X4, graphite, sport, 4. 10, limited slip, 48RE, 315's, Tow, Air Bags, Tow mirrors, Rear defroster(not needed in texas), Tonneau cover.

Nerf bars awaiting installation. Xenon flares need paint prior to install.

I am getting rid of my 02 Ram QC to get this one. I ordered the 04 specific to my needs (and wants).

Wife still shaking her head.

Photos in my gallery.

dGottschalk,

Nice looking truck!

What's up with the stripe? I've never seen that one before. Is this something you had made up?

I'd get some mudflaps soon. Those 315's are going to throw some rocks.

The wife will eventually understand. Until then, you'll probably hear "Why would you do that to a perfectly good truck?" I hear it all the time. She's starting to come around though!;)

Stripe was off ebay. I thought the silver stripe would add a nice contrast to the graphite. It came with a stripe for the bed cover.

I have mudflaps but I was waiting to install the fender flares first.

I would love a 4" lift but I barely get the monster in the garage as it is.

Thanks,

Doug

You can get a better view of the stripe if you click on a larger image size in the gallery.

Its kinda hard to describe. A ram moving at high speed?

Nerf Bars

Hi,

I put my nerf bars on tonight. I would have rather had the full length ones but these came off my 02 ram.

Mud flaps are on temporarily while I await my xenon fender flares.

I have read how others have taken their badges off using heat and fishing line or floss and then clean with goo be gone. I would like to know the best way to replace the cummings badge in another location. Do I need to add a sticky surface to the badge or will the previous surface continue to work?

Doug (wife still shaking her head)

I just bought new ones from Geno's for $17 each. I was too chicken to take a heat gun to my paint.

I probably could have salvaged them by removing the rest of the adhesive and using some 3M tape from an auto paint store.
