Yeah, that's the one thing that puzzled me. I figure someone who knows to put in an HX-40, DD-IIs etc... would use a better clutch. :(

Might be why he is selling it.

I think the Centerforce is better then most members think. The early clutch discs did fail in the center section but Centerforce changed the design and they will hold most medium horsepower trucks on the street. They don't compare to a good dual disc set up but neither do other highly touted single disc setups. Larry

Good point! :D I am wondering the same thing. I sure would like to know though, because having a Pacbrake is what is stopping me from getting a PDR HX40... .

Pacbrake lists direct mount exhaust brakes for "C" series applications.

C's use 40 series turbochargers.

Pacbrake also makes 4" inline models for some applications

Wow, I didn't know that, does anyone in TDR land have a HX-40 Pacbrake on now? I still have mine in the box, but if they make a "40" series I might just wait to put that one on:) .

6X6, give me a break, that's a 4X4. This was settled by the United States Army over 50 years ago. JTMcC.

Its the term I use. Big deal if the Army settled it. They still pay $200. 00 for toilet seats.

THAT is NOT a 6X6! :D
