Any hunters here? Seen the new Jeep ad?

Anyone own a VAX ?

Ok this is the spec on it. It's a 2001 dodge ram quad cab 3/4 ton diesel. The

front coils and rear springs were made by valley spring works. The amount

of lift is 12" Although the rear springs are 15" of lift ( I took out the

big 4. 5" rear blocks and went with a 1. 5 incher) thus resulting in 12" of

total lift. The lift has a total of 4,000 miles on it, never been off road.

I also have (8) Rancho RS 5000 shocks that I ran on the truck as well as a

set of steel braided brake lines (never installed) made by classic tube. No it is not mine(wish it was). The guy is selling the lift how much do you think he wants winner gets a prize.

Sharp truck!

Nice lift and truck :D It's too bad I live over in let the government make it safe land. We are not allowed to drive vehicles like that anymore, because they are dangerous, but SUV's are safe, that's what they say right  Ha ha

A prize????

I am guessing that this guy wants $7,000

Nice truck, but really, 12"? For what, driving over the rice burners in traffic?

Is the front drive shaft even connected? I saw a similar 1/2 ton in San Diego and it didn't have the front drive line because there was no way it was going to survive at those angles. I don't recall if the pinion had been turned. The truck looked absolutely ridiculous. Bet the both ride & handle reeeaaaalllll well.

How the He11

Do you get in something like that:confused: It would take me a 4' step ladder or a good running start. :D besides I couldn't get the goose neck up that high anyway.

What's scary is that for how unsafe it is, how much kids like trucks like that! My daughter and boyfriend can't stop talking about monster trucks, and the lifted trucks around here. Problem is they're too young to know how flat out dangerous a truck like that can be. And we're not even talking about the extreme amount of wear on the drivetrain components.

You guys are right it is really high and me being 5,5 i would need a rope lader to get in it. The front drive shaft is not connected he was going to order the one that was made for it but then he had to take the lift off. Really the only reason it is appealing is cuz he wants $1,500 for the lift. Thats about $300 to $400 more than a 5" lift. Yes it is really tall thats what turns me off about it (very impractical). Maybe as a show truck but not every day.

You know what they say " Some people have more money than brains" Which I think applies in this case. But hey to each his own. Thats what makes the world go round.
