Texas plates ... . guess he bought into the "everything's bigger" myth...

My sentiments exactly! Just think how bad of a Cummins he could have built with all that wasted money! Though, he has already showed he doesn't have any commen sense, would probably just stack some boxes, through in some huge injectors and leave the turbo stock and think its "bad" and melt it! :-laf

He must be related to that guy awhile back that had that silver quad cab short bed cumminGs on like 53" tires over for sale on ebay. Remember the one with new glow plugs  :-laf

Kinda off the subject, but we just got a 10K Offroad forklift delivered here to work and after I downloaded it I looked in the engine compartment and low and behold! :--) a 12V Cummins with less then 900 hrs, looks brand-new, maybe we could pull it and put it in that truck so it will have enough power to actually go up an onramp! :-laf

Is it just me or dose that thing have the body style of a 03 or newer?
02 was the first year for that body style and was available only as a 1/2 ton while 3/4 & 1 tons still used the old body style for that year.

Just like Chevy did in '99 and '00 and '01.

1500, then 2500, then 2500HD and 3500HD.

GM and Dodge do this often(introduce 1/2's then 3/4's), but Ford has had the Superduty, and completely differentiates the 1/2 ton and 3/4 ton pickups, unlike GM and Dodge.
