"When it comes to heavy-duty trucks, GM and Ford may have the better sales numbers, but Dodge looks as though it may have the better truck. "

This was after they road-tested a 3rd generation Dodge Ram 3500 quad cab 4WD dually. It may already be on here (TDR) somewhere, but it helped me make my decision when I found it. I've driven Fords and Chevys my whole life and the more I drive this Ram the better I like it. You can read the entire post here http://www.edmunds.com/new/2005/dodge/rampickup3500/100443693/roadtestarticle.html?articleId=100538&tid=edmunds. e. roadtests. content... Dodge* .

I agree. I'm not sure that the Powerstroke is more refined then the CTD lie they suggest but I certionly agree with their bottom line assesment of the RAM CTD. I almost bought a Duramax because the Chevy dealers were going to give me a better deal money wise on a new truck. I stuck with the Dodge because of previous experiance and am sooooo glad I did. I really really love this truck and know deep down the RAM/Cummins was the right choice for me.

My neighbor has a new Ford Powerstroke and hes always stopping by saying I shoulda bought the Dodge. LOL!! :-laf :-laf

I drove the Chev and Ford's as you can see I have a ford now, I personally don't like the new 6. 0 very noisy and revs allot, trans was always shifting, and the dealer said sticker was what they went for??? I also had a friend who got a new Ford again, his 03 6. 0 was a lemon. and for Chev liked them allot but the wife didn't so that ended that, very good price, have a Dodge on order now, alway heard that cummins was the best engine, the ford stuck me several times Found On Road Dead, with CMP sensor 2 times in 6 years??? and it wasn't cold weather friendly for starting in the cold not plugged in had to plan when I needed to go some where in the winter, gets old after a while just don't trust it anymore. I hope the Dodge works out good for me I was very impressed with the new one we drove and the wife couldn't believe it was a diesel, I like quiet, hope my transfer tank, home made, fits with the 5th wh hitch???
