That one has been on ebay forever. The owner is awful proud of it. Talk about a worthless ride for anything other than a desert environment. No top, no roof. I wouldn't want to be going down the highway with that snap top roof.

He says there is a unpainted hard top available

believe me once you lift off the hardtop and take it off. Its off for the season. Since you need 4-6 people to do it. I have an early '74 with no frame around the window. So its even cooler. We would take off the top around Memorial Day and put it back on September. And we didn't have the softtop, just a giant tarp and the Weather Channel. If you like convertibles its the way to go. Great for the beach and Friday night cruising. Now why its a 2x4 is silly. He really kinda killed it. I bet it would have sold if it was a 4x4 still. But nice to know a late model dash fits :)

Slide a hardtop on it, and it would make an excellent replacement for the wifes durango. If I did not need something to pull the gooseneck trailer, and haul a family of four, it would be a nice addition. Says in the add a hardtop can go with it.

I'd say it looks like he did a very nice job on it.

wow... . not a lot of convertible people around here.

If it was a backup vehicle then OK, but since it would be an everyday ride, year around at my house, no convertables for me. When its 95* in the summer with 95% humidity, its not "cool" to ride around sweating ;). Then I suspect come winter when its in the single digits, then the covertable top would then allow for a "cool" ride. I don't want the wife to get frigid, if you know what I mean. :-laf

I think that truck is sweet. I guess it may get a little old with that ragtop on. I would imagine it would be noisy, but I like the drive train, and the body is in great shape. I think I should have done that instead of getting the 03 1500 quad cab. I have not sold the 92 Cummins yet,and I don't really want to,but I can't have all these vehicles hanging around. I like the 1/2 ton,but I miss driving the noise maker, and I miss shifting the NV4500.
