;) For ye fellers that set their own valve lash, take extra time to remove and fully disassemble your rocker arm assemblies. Look for any binding in the movement This could be very damaging if a valve gets hung open at the wrong time.....

I'm surprised the aftermarket doesn't have a full roller rocker, something similar to CompCams Cromoly rockers... stronger than steel and lighter at the valve than aluminum.

I've seen em on 12's but not for 24's. They're out there.

There are roller components out there but the jury is out on gains and durability. Lots of aftermarket products I have come across for our trucks have less durability or are not as good as OEM... ... We looked into the aftermarket roller rocker but so far the quality is not what we feel it should be. I guess the saying "buyer beware" is really in order on some things.

The ARP studs that RD referes to above are a nice addition that is a quality product.

Thats what I figured.

Beginning at some point with the 3rd gen engines the rockers have improved lubrication (larger holes basically).

Not saying this is a cure which it probably isnt but it might be a good bandaid until we get better parts for our trucks.
