Maybe these guys need to pay attention to what they are reading before they start flying off the handle with suggestions. Talk about jumping to conclusions!

Gotta love that A-hole Pro-Driver, the sites "expert". Calls the Cummins cumapart, says he only drives Cats... last time I checked, the Cummins was the most reliable longest running engine made for a pickup. I haven't seen a Cat in a pickup yet! Then he tells the guy that his radiator is history when in fact the whole problem was just cleaning off some bugs, dirt & leaves from the front of the radiator. The "expert" was telling this guy to pop all his freeze plugs to flush out his system! When in fact all it needed was to hose off the front of the radiator, it nows runs at 190 degrees! LOL

Yeah, and check out that schmuck's signature. Down the page away are his most recent replies and sounds to me like he is surely loved on that forum! :-laf Just another blowhard out looking for attention. Notice how he uses quotation marks on everything he wants to emphasize. He shoulda wrote, I'm a self appointed "Jack*****", then there would be no question at all. Guys like that make me happy to pay my 40. 00 a year! :) Like the old saying, "better to remain silent and be thought of as a fool than to open your mouth and remove all doubt! :p

Ditto a bargain at $40! He too would have known that he needed to remount the breather bottle and keep the crud outta the radiator.

I have one thing to say " a stupid is as a stupid does"

I think we need to send them a TDR flyer and let them in on what the pro's know. . :-laf

I wonder if that guy knows anything about "muffler bearings", and "headlight fluid"... :-laf

I'm sure he does. He knows about everything else. Wait till that Cat needs work. Then he'll know about spending money, too.

Bumper gaskets

He's forgotten that a worn front bumper gasket can lead to a harmonic vibration of the bumper thus disturbing front end airflow and starving the radiator of good air. How'd he overlook that?

Really. He had to be watching a NASCAR race while he was spewing his input and listening to the commentators talk about aerodynamics and air flow over the cars.

I'm surprised he didn't suggest that the owner is following other vehicles too close and that's causing the air flow disruption.

Remiinds me of the fella in the 80-sumpthin Subaru with the "elegant" home-crafted sheet-metal spoiler and the NASCAR stickers all over the place that thought he'd draft my trailer for the extra mileage and the boost he'd have when he might pass me and the trailer whilst we were both doin' ten or so over the limit. Gotta love those guys. I s'pose somebody does.
